He is an 8th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and an 8th Degree Black Belt in Kung Fu, and has been training in the Martial Arts for 32 years, starting at the age of 7. Master Valian was driven to train when he was faced with two bullies at his school and didn't know how to defend himself. From that point forward he started to attend the Karate Classes in Tehran, Iran. Six months into his training he realized that Kung Fu To'A training fit his style better than Karate, thus thrusting him into the Kung Fu discipline. He continued to train in Kung Fu To'A until he was 14 years old and then started to participate in regional competitions in Tehran.

Master Valian has won the fighting championships, in Iran, at the age of 21 for 70-75kg, then went to Malaysia for a competition and won 2nd place.

At the age of 22, he went to Bakoo, USSR, to attend a Sunshow competition finishing in first place. In 1995 he came to the United States and started his Martial Arts career in San Antonio, Texas where he taught Kung Fu as well as competing in the Regional Championships of the State of Texas. He has won several competitions as a champion until needing to stop because of a back injury ending his competitive career.

Since 1995, Master Valian has continued to train and learn the Martial Arts and has been granted the 8th degree black belt by Grand Master Kung Yung IL (one of the pioneers) and in Tae Kwon Do. He has also earned an 8th Degree Black Belt in "New Kung Fu".

Master Valian has the desire to continue in the tradition of transferring his knowledge to his students. He actively teaches his class made up of white belts and several black belt students and continues to teach them and guide them unconditionally.

School Policies

Weather
In the event of inclement weather, please listen to your local news and our news section of our website. We will follow the same guidelines as the Allen Independent School District.

Payments
All fees for school activities, such as testing, seminars, parents night out, and birthday parties, need to be paid prior to the event to secure your spot for the event. Please refer to the individual event flyers for information regarding the cost and payment due date. If payment is not made by the due date for the event, we cannot guarantee a spot in the event, so please be prompt with payment.

Testing
Action Martial Arts testing is held approximately every nine weeks. Students are eligible for testing when their instructor provides the student with appropriate achievement stripes on their belt (red, white, and blue). If the student is not given their achievement stripes before testing, then the student is not deemed ready for testing.

Testing is held on a Saturday determined by the Chief Instructor at AMA Black Belt Academy. Testing notifications are provided verbally, by flyers and on our website, with time and group information.

It is imperative that students pre-register within one week of the scheduled testing date and take care of their standard testing fee prior to testing to ensure their spot.

Please respect this policy and our Academy so that we may maintain a clean and safe environment for all. Please supervise your children while in the waiting area. Please have your children refrain from running, loud talk, and other disruptive activities in waiting area.

Health and Safety
We ask that everyone refrain form bringing their child to class when they are sick. This not only benefits your child, but also the other students and the instructors. Some reasons why you would not bring your child to class include:

1. A fever higher than 100 degrees
2. A runny nose with thick discharge
3. Sore throat
4. Bad cough
5. Headache
6. Stomach ache, Diarrhea, Nausea, or vomiting
7. Red or pink eye
8. Rash or infection of the skin

Contagious conditions such as head lice, ringworm, impetigo, etc. require treatment before the student will be allowed to return to class. Please notify the studio if your child is diagnosed as having any communicable disease such as strep-throat, or pink-eye.

Thank you for your consideration and support in these matters.
